Our fully licensed team, holding a Minnesota DNR Division of Enforcement permit, follows all guidelines for handling nuisance skunks. We ensure that animals are safely and humanely relocated to habitats that are more suited to their species and are far from urban areas.
Skunks play a beneficial role in the environment by feeding on various insects that can harm your yard and garden. At Stone River Wildlife Control, we recognize their ecological importance and opt for live trapping and relocation to safely move them away from residential areas. This approach helps maintain the natural balance while keeping your property free from nuisance wildlife.
Baking soda is a great way to neutralize that strong skunk smell, while hydrogen peroxide breaks down the stinky molecules. Dish soap helps by cutting through the oils in the skunk spray, letting the other ingredients really work their magic. In our experience, tomato juice just doesn’t do the trick—it might mask the odor some, but it doesn’t actually get rid of it. Our tried-and-true solution is a much better way to tackle skunk odor for good!
